Here’s what’s happening over the next few weeks:

  • Wed., April 9
    • 4:00-5:45PM Quilting Circle – Each week, before our Wednesday Service / Study & Supper, we will gather to create a quilt or two to raise funds for charity. If you have questions, direct them to Amy Larimer.
    • 6PM Final Lenten Wednesday Eucharist (8 min. homily) followed by a potluck soup supper (approx. 6:40).
  • Sun., April 13  Palm Sunday Holy Eucharist at 10AM (be sure to show up a little early for the blessing of the palms and processional). Christian Formation follows at 11:30AM. I will be presenting a timeline of Holy Week as it is recorded in the Scriptures.
  • Thur., April 17  Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist with Foot Washing at 7PM.
    • Prayer Vigil from 8pm-8am at the church. (Sign up sheet is on the volunteer board.)
  • Fri., April 18  Good Friday (day of fasting/abstinence)
    • 8AM Morning Prayer at the church (no sermon)
    • 12PM  Community Good Friday Service (Fr. Chris preaching) at Memorial United Methodist Church
    • 3PM  Reading of the Passion, Solemn Collects & Reproaches, Distribution of Holy Communion, and Stations of the Cross (no sermon)
  • Sun., April 20  Easter Day (Sunday of the Resurrection) 10AM Festal Holy Eucharist

Have you committed to inviting someone to come to Holy Week and Easter services? Make sure to take some of our invitation cards this week so that you can evangelize with ease. And prayerfully commit to honoring our Lord’s passion in this time by coming to at least one of the special services.
